He urged people not to conform to president Nixon’s ideals during the 70s and he supported free thinking artists and activists for the second half of his life. This is probably his most recognized testimony to his beliefs.

i think this is a great example of himself being a free thought person, but making and agenda for other people to follow kinda contradict what free thinking is about. I believe people can take ideas from other people to think freely

I think this is a good example of "think freely" but it can also be a 'non-conformingg'
