Dead Poet's Society really relies on the ideas on transcendentalism. Mr.Keating free thinking and strong emotion shown through his teachings is a true example of transcendentalism. He stresses the importance of the transcendental ideas to his students which have both good and bad effects. For example Neil pushes for his goal because of Mr.Keatings encouragement which caused his death simply because he didn't truly believe he could. Todd on the other hand, through Keatings teachings found self-confidence, self-reliance, and courage.

That's correct I agree that the Dead Poets Society really relies on the ideas of transcendentalism. Mostly everything in life has good and bad effects that's part of nature. Great job(:
