It is also telling you that you don't have to do what everyone is else doing. That when you get the opportunity; it is important that you seize the moment.

I agree with you fredddy. Enimens message is you have one shot and if you dont take it you will loose yourself. By taking that and percevieving your preoblems you will as you said seize the moment and win the battle.

I agree with you in a way, but I think that the main message is quite different. I think Eminem is telling people to take chances because in today's society, chances to become someone great are rare. So I personally think that the song has nothing to do with that aspect of Transcendentalism.
