The beginning of Nature was about how we saw the world and the way we look at things around us. Emerson stated how we, as people, take stars for granted because they are always accesible to us every night because we always see them. With that, what most people don’t realize is how inaccessible they actually are. In reality the stars are in the sky every night but they are untouchable to us in a far off universe. I think the picture I chose fit very well with the beginning perception of the stars in Emerson’s essay. He thought that only through the eyes of a poet could people percieve the beauty and idea that the stars were so close yet so far away. He thought that regular people unlike poets could not grasp the idea and saw everything in a superficial way as just mere objects. The stars are just as much a part of nature as forests and oceans because in his essay he explained nature as being intertwined and everything is connected. The Picture I chose was of a person on a canoe stargazing while surrounded by nature portraying the idea of Emerson’s essay.Attachments:

I quite like this post. I agree with what you think and focused on this myself. This being Emerson's ideas on natures accesibility and our role in it. I like that you used the star quote as support and didnt base your entire post around it.
