These lyrics from Thugz Mansion by Tupac is talking about how he doesn’t want to live the way he is living anymore. Everyday is like a cycle with a growing fear of getting killed. After going through all the pain, Tupac can do nothing more than pray and dream, the nature of all people going through tough struggles. “We still visualize places, that we can roll in peace and in my mind's eye I see this place...” He’s got nothing more on his mind than reaching an inner peace, and imagines a place free of worries, death, and where he can be with his loved ones just having a great time. At the end, he asks God to take care of him and take him to paradise. He no longer wants to live this life full of misery, yet holds on for the ones he cares for. He no longer wants to know what other troubles might come, but he wants to make sure that after those troubles come, he can be in a place where he can be absolutely free. This song reminds me of those moments when you got no one else to talk to but you still speak to yourself or to something or someone spiritual, like God such as Tupac did, and everything you say about how you feel comes straight out of your heart. c: It’s like saying, even when no one undertands and when you feel so alone, go ahead; shout, yell, scream or cry because nobody’s watching. Just open your heart and dream for something better. Attachments:
