The movie lion king which is my favorite Disney movie shows much transcendentalism and we never even though of it before, even though it’s a movie meant for kids I still like to see it and it can still make you sad no matter how old you are. The main character is a cub named Simba who goes through much change in his life since he had to return to be rightful king but before that happens he goes through a state of self- reliance. He goes through that since he just lost his father who had taught him the importance of nature with the circle of life idea and showing how each animal cannot live without the other. That in order to maintain the circle as a lion he had to be brave and bold and not let no one badly influence him like the hyenas tried to do. Simba for a while when he was a cub was a little bit thinking freely as he still had time to play and watch as his father Mufasa ruled to be a kind and great ruler like he was. Simba met with a monkey who was called Rafiki who helped show transcending as he drew pictures and foretold events in a way. Simba learned to overcome his uncle scar as he fought him and take his rightful place as king of the jungle which he showed determination and fulfilled his goal. Simba is a transcendental character but there are others who show characteristic as well.
