Star wars has some transcendetal ideas in it, like self reliance and the importance of nature. The Force in the Star Wars Saga is a metaphysical power used by Jedis and Siths. In this quote Obi-wan Kanobi describes The Force,"Well, the Force is what gives a Jedi his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together." This shows that their surroundings, or nature, is important because it's all connected to the people who live in it. Also, the Jedi Knights are often told to trust their feelings and intuition. The Jedi are self reliant since they don't have many possessions, they can't have a lot of things because it would interfere with them being able to feel The Force. The Jedi have complete Trust in The Living Force and that shows that they live off of instinct, they believe that everything has a purpose and if you trust yourself then you will find it.

I love it! I completely agree with Jenny on how their living environment, or nature, is an important part of them. Without "The Force" these people would have nothing to connect "the galaxy" together. "The Force" is looked at highly and respectfully because of its power and importance, it builds together what they have, such like nature does to us. This movie also relates to the Transcendental characteristic, transcending, because once they have "the force" they are spiritually powerful with the truths of life in them.
