Lyrics:I'm holding onto white balloons Up against a sky of doom Tell me you see them 'Cause what's inside of me is invisible to most Even in clear view I'm sending out a signal to the possibility of you 'Cause right at this moment I know you're connected to a part of me that I don’t even know myself The changes in me Are likely to be like the weather Stormy and clear strengthen to fear bound together But I'll break my silence If I believed that you and me could ever be More than just what's been behind us I tried and left, they came and went I got rejected out again But no one believes me I've worn a hundred faces Of the character replacements And now nobody sees me The changes in me Are likely to be like the weather Cloudy at best... Angels lift me Are you with me? I’m holding onto you like I'm holding onto white balloons Carry Me Away I hope that you don't break Angels lift me Are you with me? I’m holding onto you like I'm holding onto white balloons Carry Me Away I hope that you don’t break I hope that you don’t break Don't break 'Cause what's inside of me is invisible to most Even in clear view This band shows a great importance of nature. Referring to the lyrics "The changes in me are likely to be like the weather." It's comparing a human being to the nature around him. Ever changing, tempestuous, or calm at times. Yet he is putting his trust in nature and angels so he will not fall down to earth, since he only had one balloon carrying him. So even though nature can be harmful at times, overall we need it to live. Attachments:

This song goes into this category very well. I definitely agree with you we need nature to live and this song is a perfect example of it. When it states "I hope you don't break" one sees how one pays attention to natures influences and puts trusts in it as well. when the song says " I know you're connected to a part of me that I don’t even know myself" it shows the belief of transcendentalists of the oversoul. The oversoul connects each person with everything in nature.

I agree with you also on how this song fits into an importance of nature. In the line 'Cause what's inside of me is invisible most is a reference to how most do not see the importance of nature rather they only notice the danger with how a single white ballon is holding the importance. I've worn a hundred faces could be a reference to the many differences in nature and there roles.
